Discover the taste of Nicaragua, in this special origin chocolate bar! Made in France by Chocolaterie A. Morin, a 4th generation family business. Chocolatiers from father to son since 1884, in the south of France at the border of the Ardèche.

Nicalizo is the first Nicaraguan bean to be awarded 'Heirloom Cacao' (historical, rare variety) status due to its refined taste.

 

The cacao beans for this bar mainly come from the mountains in the Jinotega region in the north of the country.

 

Farmers are trained at the Cocoa Academy and six professionals visit them regularly to give them practical advice. The beans are bought at a price that is 25% above the current market price. 

 

Tasting notes: dark fruit, raisings with a somewhat spicy, woody undertone, nutmeg, coffee.

 

Ingredients: cacao beans, cane sugar, cacao butter, sunflower lecithin
