Returns & Refund Policy

At Cacao & Spice we take great care in preparing and packing our chocolate. As our products are food items, we can only accept returns under limited circumstances.

 

Returning your order

If you wish to return your order, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your parcel at info@cacaoandspice.com before sending anything back.

Products are only eligible for a refund if they are returned:

• unopened;

• unused;

• in their original packaging; and

• in a condition that allows them to be resold.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

 

Shipping costs

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

The cost of returning a parcel is the responsibility of the customer.

If a parcel is refused, not collected, or returned to us because delivery could not be completed, any return shipping charges, carrier fees, customs charges, import duties or other costs charged to us by the shipping carrier will be deducted from any refund.

 

Damaged or incorrect orders

If your order arrives damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photographs of both the products and the packaging. We will work with you to find an appropriate solution.

 

Delivery

We carefully prepare every shipment and hand it over to our shipping partner in good condition. Delivery times are estimates only and delays caused by the carrier are outside our control. We will, of course, assist customers wherever possible if shipping issues arise.

 

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method after the returned goods have been received, inspected and any applicable shipping or carrier charges have been deducted.
